Service overview
One plan for every part of your pet’s international move
An international pet move has to satisfy three sets of rules at once: the destination country’s import conditions, each airline’s live-animal policies, and India’s export procedures. Miss a step, such as a microchip implanted after the rabies vaccine or a blood test taken too early, and the travel date can slip by months.
We bring those moving parts into a single timeline. Your consultant checks the current requirements for your exact route, books a suitable flight, schedules the veterinary work in the right order and handles clearance, keeping you updated throughout.

- NRIs and expats returning to India who need help with import procedures on arrival

Requirements
Every destination has its own rules
Here is a short overview of popular routes. It is a starting point rather than a checklist: requirements change, and they can differ for dogs and cats, by breed and by airline.
| Destination | Typical requirements for pets travelling from India | Allow at least |
|---|---|---|
| United Kingdom | Microchip, rabies vaccination, and a rabies blood test taken at least 30 days after vaccination at an EU-approved laboratory (result of at least 0.5 IU/ml). Travel is possible 3 months after the sample date. A GB health certificate is also required. | 4 months |
| European Union | Microchip, rabies vaccination, a titre test at an approved laboratory with the same 3-month wait, an EU animal health certificate, and entry through a designated point. | 4 months |
| United States (dogs) | CDC rules for dogs from high-risk countries: at least 6 months old, microchip before the rabies vaccine, CDC Dog Import Form, a government-endorsed vaccination certificate, and either a valid titre from a CDC-approved laboratory or a booking at a CDC-registered animal care facility at the arrival airport. | 2 to 3 months |
| Other destinations | Import permits, tests and waiting periods vary widely. Australia and Singapore, for example, involve permits and quarantine arrangements that must be booked well ahead. | Ask us |

FAQs
Frequently asked questions
Can’t find your answer? Ask us on WhatsApp or through the enquiry form, and your consultant will reply.
How far in advance should I start planning?
As early as you can. Routes that need a rabies titre test, such as the UK and EU, include a three-month wait from the blood sample date, and the vaccination and test must happen before that. Simpler routes can take a few weeks. Your consultant gives you a timeline for your destination and travel date.
Can my pet travel in the cabin with me?
Only on certain airlines and routes, and only for small pets within the airline’s size and weight limits. Otherwise pets travel in a pressurised, temperature-controlled hold, either as accompanied baggage or as cargo. We confirm which options exist for your route.
Do you relocate both dogs and cats?
Yes. We coordinate international moves for dogs and cats, subject to airline and destination acceptance rules. Some airlines restrict snub-nosed breeds such as pugs, bulldogs and Persian cats, so we check this before booking.
Can you help bring my pet into India?
Yes. As well as moving pets out of India, we help families bring their pets home, including arrival customs clearance and coordination with the authorities involved.
Should my pet be sedated for the flight?
Generally no. Sedation can affect breathing and balance at altitude, and many airlines will not accept sedated pets. Discuss any medication with your veterinarian and let us know so we can check the airline’s policy.
How much does international pet relocation cost?
It depends on the origin and destination, your pet’s size (which sets the kennel size and airfare), the airline, and the services you choose. Share your details through the enquiry form for a tailored quotation.
